While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian students deprived of education as Israel’s war and financial strangulation continue

RAMALLAH, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) -

Following repeated warnings by the Palestinian Cabinet of the grave and mounting consequences of the ongoing all-out Israeli war against the Palestinian people and the ongoing withholding of Palestinian clearance revenues, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced earlier this week that it has been decided to postpone the beginning of the 2025/2026 school year in the West Bank to Monday, September 8, 2025.

These clearance revenues, which Israel collects on behalf of the Palestinian Authority under signed agreements and transfers them on a monthly basis, constitute more than two-thirds of the Palestinian Government’s total income, and are indispensable for sustaining essential public services, including education, healthcare, and social protection.

This decision comes against the backdrop of Israel’s unlawful withholding of Palestinian clearance revenues, now exceeding 10 billion shekels, and the suspension of all transfers for the fourth consecutive month, rendering the Palestinian Government unable to meet its obligations toward the Palestinian people, including paying salaries to public employees to sustain national institutions and public services.

The Israeli deliberate and systematic financial strangulation against the Palestinian National Authority has crippled the ability of Palestinian institutions to sustain essential public services. The education sector has been particularly hard hit, with the postponement depriving more than 623,000 students and over 40,000 teachers across the West Bank of beginning the school year on time.

In Gaza, as Israel’s genocidal war is extending into its second consecutive year, more than 700,000 students remain deprived of their right to education, including over 70,000 high school students who have been deprived of sitting for their high school final exams—placing their academic and professional future at risk.

The forced disruption of education to hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children reflect the depth of the catastrophe facing the Palestinian people and the collapse of their institutions under siege and war.  These deliberate actions undermine the basic human rights of children, whose education, safety, and future are being systematically jeopardized by an occupying Power that defies international law and community.

'Hamas: IAGS resolution on Israel’s genocide in Gaza “new legal documentation”

Monday 1-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has welcomed the resolution adopted by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), which says that “Israel’s actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide.”

In a press release on Monday, Hamas said that the IAGS resolution serves as “new legal documentation” reinforcing numerous international reports and testimonies that have documented the genocide Palestinians are facing in full view of the entire world.

'Hamas criticized the international community for its reluctance to take action against Israel and the government of Benjamin Netanyahu, calling such international impotence a “stain of shame and a “resounding failure to protect humanity.”

'Hamas warned that such continued international inaction “poses a direct threat to global peace and security.”

The Movement called on the UN, the international community and all concerned parties to take urgent action to stop Israel’s “crimes of genocide, displacement and ethnic cleansing” and to hold its leaders accountable for their “fascist and terrorist crimes” in Gaza.

IAGS passed on Monday three-page resolution that outlines a wide range of Israeli actions that it says constitute genocide, including deliberate attacks against civilians, starvation, deprivation of humanitarian aid, sexual violence, and forced displacement of the population.

In addition to the actions of the Israeli military, the resolution also references statements by high-level Israeli government officials as proof of genocidal intent.

Specifically, the resolution cites “Israeli governmental leaders, war cabinet ministers, and senior army officers” who “have made explicit statements of ‘intent to destroy,’ characterizing Palestinians in Gaza as a whole as enemies and ‘human animals’ and stating the intention of inflicting ‘maximum damage’ on Gaza, ‘flattening Gaza,’ and turning Gaza into ‘hell.’”

The scholars also point to Israeli officials’ support for a plan floated by US President Donald Trump to expel all Palestinians from Gaza, which they contend “amounts to ethnic cleansing.”

Dair El-Bala'h mayor says situation in central Gaza “tragic beyond measure”

Monday 1-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Dair El-Bala'h mayor Nizar 'Ayyash has affirmed that central Gaza is entirely overcrowded with no available space for setting up new tents, describing the situation as “tragic beyond measure.”

In recent remarks to Al Jazeera Net, mayor 'Ayyash added that the infrastructure in central Gaza is severely dilapidated, and the desalination plant requires large amounts of fuel to produce only limited quantities of water.

“The city is completely overcrowded with residents, and there is no longer any space to set up new tents or accommodate more displaced people. The streets and public facilities have turned into temporary living spots, with many sleeping on the ground, lacking the fundamental necessities for survival,” the mayor said.

He called for urgent international action to protect civilians and stop the Israeli aggression against them.

UNRWA: Gaza City is facing “situation beyond catastrophe”

Monday 1-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

UNRWA spokesman 'Adnan Abu 'Hasna has said that Gaza City is facing “conditions beyond catastrophe” as the Israeli occupation forces have intensified their attacks in the city’s neighborhoods.

“In addition to the recently declared famine, humanitarian relief operations provided to the residents of Gaza City have been severely affected, especially with regard to healthcare, water and sanitation, and waste collection,” spokesman Abu Hasna explained.

He pointed out that many families found themselves forced to move to the western area of Gaza City, which is an extremely crowded zone that has no basic services.

As the Israeli army attempts to displace around one million Gaza City residents towards so-called evacuation zones in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, UNRWA has warned that no space is available.

“Gaza City residents are unable to travel to the southern Gaza Strip,” UNRWA told Al Jazeera Arabic on Sunday. “There are no places in the southern Gaza Strip for Gaza City residents to seek refuge.”

The agency warned that Gaza’s largest urban hub was witnessing a near-total collapse of the humanitarian system, while municipal services are almost non-existent.

“What is happening in Gaza City is the most dangerous since the beginning of the war,” it said.

7 Palestinians injured, 3 arrested in IOF, settler attacks

Monday 1-September-2025

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)

Five young Palestinian men were injured by Israeli gunfire, and dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation, following violent confrontations in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of al-Khalil in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed the camp and fired live bullets, tear gas, and sound grenades, which led to the outbreak of intense clashes. Palestinian youths responded by throwing stones and empty bottles at the military vehicles.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams treated three people shot with live bullets inside the camp, two of them were hit in the legs, while a young woman sustained a grazing bullet wound to the neck.

Medical sources at Yatta Governmental Hospital confirmed that five gunshot wounds from the camp were admitted to the emergency room. Additional injuries caused by tear gas inhalation were treated on-site, especially as IOF heavily fired tear gas toward homes, vehicles, and residents.

In a related incident on Sunday evening, two Palestinians were injured and three others arrested following a settler attack on Khirbet Khilet Al-Dab'a, in Masafir Yatta, south of al-Khalil.

Local and medical sources confirmed that a Palestinian man and his wife suffered bruises after settlers attacked their home. The Red Crescent reported treating both victims on the spot after they were beaten by settlers.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians after briefly holding a group of citizens in the village. Settlers also stole livestock feed from a farm owned by Mohammad Badawi Dababsa.

According to a report by the Palestinian Commission Against the Wall and Settlements, Israeli settlers carried out 466 attacks across the West Bank in July 2024 alone.  Israeli occupation forces expel Palestinian shepherds from northern Jordan Valley pastures

JORDAN VALLEY, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday forced Palestinian shepherds to leave their pastures in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces forced the shepherds to leave their pastures near Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley and prevented them from grazing their livestock.

Israeli offensive on Jineen enters seventh month amid widespread destruction, mass displacement

Jineen, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation's aggression on the city of Jineen and its camp has entered its seventh month, amid widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes, and the displacement of thousands of Palestinians from their homes.

Basheer Mataheen, the director of public relations at the Jenin Municipality, told WAFA that the occupation has completely destroyed more than 600 homes since the start of its raid on the camp, and partially demolished nearly 1,000 housing units, displacing approximately 22,000 residents.

He added that the occupation army, which is permanently present in the Jenin camp, prevents any entry or exit, making it difficult for the municipality and its crews to accurately assess the damage.

He added, "From our observations of the camp, we realize that the occupation has completely changed the map of the camp, as several landmarks have been removed, in addition to the construction of numerous roads and streets within it."

He emphasized that the ongoing aggression is exacerbating the crisis of the displaced, in addition to the worsening of the capacity of students from Jenin camp to accommodate the displaced in schools close to their displacement sites.

He said, "We will witness overcrowding among students in several schools close to the locations where the displaced are located, especially since the occupation has closed eight schools in and around the camp."

The number of incursions reached 62 before the latest aggression, which directly impacted commercial activity, causing the closure of several shops and the failure of many projects in Jenin.

According to the mills, a deep recession has hit the city's markets due to the closure of the Jalama crossing and the presence of the occupation army. Israel's Ben-Gvir to allow more 100,000 more Israelis to hold gun permits

TEL AVIV, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli National Security Minister, who is also an illegal settler in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, Itamar Ben-Gvir decided on Monday to allow approximately 100,000 additional Israelis to obtain special firearm licenses, as part of a controversial policy.

Ben-Gvir's office said in a statement: "Ben-Gvir today approved the addition of new cities to the list of towns eligible for special firearm licenses."

According to Ben-Gvir's office, approximately 230,000 new firearm licenses have been issued since the beginning of the arming policy.

Ben-Gvir launched the policy of arming Israelis, including colonists in the occupied West Bank, at the end of 2023, following the outbreak of the Israeli war of extermination in the Gaza Strip.

Colonists launch almost daily terrorist attacks, using firearms, against civilians in the occupied West Bank, forcibly displacing them and seizing their lands and property.

During the month of July, colonists carried out 466 attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of four citizens in the West Bank, and the forced displacement of the 'Arab Al-Mulaihat communities in Jericho and Dair 'Alla in Bethlehem, comprising 50 Palestinian families consisting of 267 individuals.

They also carried out 232 acts of vandalism and theft of citizens' property, affecting vast areas of land, and resulting in the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 2,844 trees, including 2,647 olive trees.

Monday 1-September-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official Majid Abu Qutaish has warned that the growing desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the illegal Israeli settlers, who started recently to perform new rituals in its courtyards, aims to make the holy site exclusively for Jews.

In a statement on Monday, Abu Qutaish said that settler groups perform serious and unprecedented Judaization practices at Al-Aqsa Mosque every day as part of their efforts to Judaize the Islamic holy site.

“The occupation regime is working on executing its scheme at the Aqsa Mosque gradually, starting with break-ins and Talmudic rituals and ultimately aiming for full control over the holy site,” the Hamas official added.

He called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and their political parties to shoulder their responsibilities towards the Aqsa Mosque and not to leave the Palestinian people stand alone in the face of Judaization schemes.

Argentine: Thousands protest Israel's genocide in Gaza

BUENOS AIRES, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

Thousands of people took part in a massive demonstration in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, at the call of the Argentine Committee in Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

The demonstration was held to condemn the genocide in the Gaza Strip and reject the Argentine government's invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the country.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian and Argentine flags side by side, symbolizing the unity of solidarity between the two peoples.

They also carried banners in support of the Palestinian people, their struggle against the occupation, and their steadfastness on their land.

Other banners condemned the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli policy of ethnic cleansing, the use of blockade and starvation as weapons against civilians, the ongoing aggression against the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the policy of settlement expansion, and settler aggression against Palestinians.

The demonstrators demanded an end to the massacres, holding Israel accountable for its crimes, and prosecuting its leaders before international courts.

They also affirmed their categorical rejection of the potential visit of the Israeli Prime Minister to Argentina, emphasizing the need to arrest him immediately upon his entry into Argentine territory, in implementation of the international arrest warrants issued against him.

To highlight the magnitude of the human tragedy, the demonstrators held up pictures of slain civilians and journalists targeted by the occupation forces, as well as dolls wrapped in blood-stained shrouds, representing the slain children killed in cold blood by Israel daily.

The march reflected broad unity among civil society organizations, including trade unions, student unions, and cultural unions, Arab and Jewish anti-Zionist organizations, as well as leftist political parties and human rights organizations.

Representatives of the Federation of Argentine Palestinian Entities, the Palestinian community, and unionists and parliamentarians from various progressive forces also delivered speeches expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rejection of genocide, occupation, and the policy of annexation in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as well as the fragmentation of the West Bank, aimed at killing the chances of peace and the two-state solution.

They called for the freedom of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

This demonstration coincided with similar events in several Argentine cities, including Córdoba, Rosario, Santa Fe, Salta, Mar del Plata, Neuquén, and Ushuaia, as part of a wave of national Argentine solidarity with the Palestinian cause and rejection of the Israeli occupation and annexation of the West Bank.

Launch of int’l media campaign demanding protection for Gaza journalists, accountability for Israel

Monday 1-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Hundreds of media outlets from 50 countries launched on Monday a campaign denouncing Israel’s killing of Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip and demanding that it be held accountable for its crimes.

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Sunday that the death toll of journalist martyrs since October 7, 2023, has risen to 247, following the killing of journalist Islam Abed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City.

The media campaign was initiated by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and Avaaz, which placed a black banner on the homepage of their websites.

Among the media outlets participating in the campaign are: L’Humanité (France), Die Tageszeitung (Germany), La Libre (Belgium), Público (Portugal), The Independent (UK), L’Orient-Le Jour (Lebanon), and The Intercept (US investigative media organization).

Newspapers including L’Humanité, Público, and La Libre published a front-page message on a black background saying, “At the rate at which the Israeli army is killing journalists in Gaza, soon no one will remain to report on what is happening.”

In a statement Monday, RSF said, “Thanks to the Avaaz campaign platform and Reporters Without Borders, hundreds of media outlets are participating in a campaign calling for the protection of Palestinian journalists in Gaza.”

It added, “Today, hundreds of media outlets in more than 50 countries are uniting in solidarity with Palestinian journalists in Gaza, joining efforts with RSF and Avaaz.”

According to the organization, the campaign “includes full or partial blackouts of front pages in print media, banners on online news platforms, as well as audio messages on radio and visual messages on television stations.”

Israel routinely denies deliberately targeting journalists or claims that some of them belong to Hamas.

RSF called on the participating media to demand three things:

1. Protect Palestinian journalists and end the policy of impunity for crimes committed by the Israeli army against them in Gaza. 2. Grant foreign media independent access to Gaza. 3. Call on governments worldwide to host Palestinian journalists who wish to leave Gaza.

It continued, “Coinciding with the opening of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in eight days, we demand strong action from the international community and urge the Security Council to stop the Israeli army’s crimes against Palestinian journalists.”

With US backing, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, ignoring all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it. This genocide has resulted in 63,557 Palestinians killed, 160,660 injured (mostly children and women), over 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has killed 348 people, including 127 children.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
